She's not exactly known for her squeaky-clean image and has been no stranger to controversy during her rise to fame.
But has Lady GaGa possibly taken things too far? The singer was slammed by horrified fans after she pretended to be murdered and eaten on stage by a crazed psycho killer, just hours after the horrific shooting spree across Cumbria County in North West England.
Thousands of fans and parents, who had taken their children to the concert at the MEN Arena in Manchester, looked on in horror as the 24-year old singer, dressed in a skimpy leather basque, was ambushed by a man dressed in black, who then appeared to bite into her neck causing fake *lo** to spurt down her chest. The scene on stage came as Cumbrians were still coming to terms with the mass slaughter perpetrated by cab driver Derrick Bird, 52, who killed 12 in a gun rampage before turning the gun on himself. One mother who took her 14-year-old daughter to the show said: "I was absolutely sickened at what I saw. It was extremely tasteless to see her pretend to be attacked in such a gory way.
Given all the violence which happened in Cumbria just hours earlier, pop stars should be a lot more sensitive and not be featuring scenes of murder in their shows." The Bad Romance singer was also engulfed by dancers playing crazed killers and appeared to lie dying on stage covered in *lo**. Lynn Costello of Mothers Against Violence said: "I wouldn't let any child of mine go to see Lady GaGa -- I think she's tasteless anyway and this scene appears to back what I believe. They're role models, they need to take responsibility. It's tasteless."
