The St Catherine South police have taken a man in custody in connection with the shooting of dancehall artiste Cobra.
When THE WEEKEND STAR contacted the Portmore Police Station, a policeman said the man should have faced an identification parade yesterday. "The parade was not held as planned, due to some difficulties. However, the suspect is still in custody and it will be rescheduled," the investigator said.
Cobra, christened Ewart Everton Brown, was shot and injured in Braeton Phase 2 last month.
It is reported that he went into the community and was attacked. It is alleged that the incident took place when the lights from the vehicle in which he was travelling, shone on some men in the community. He was shot and injured and taken to the Spanish Town Hospital.
