A man is now in police custody after he was caught looting a wholesale establishment on Molynes Road in St Andrew early this morning.
The Observer roving team went to the location and spoke to the distraught proprietor, Apple Wu, who said the thieves cleaned out the wholesale.
"They took cologne, roll on, cigarettes, phone cards, money, hair products, beer cooking oil and peas," Wu told the Observer.
Police say they held the man after he returned to finish looting the store about 5.:30 am.
"I got a call from my security that a lot of police was at my place. When I reached they arrested one man. I don't know what I am going to do," Wu said.
Inside the wholesale half empty shelves and broken bottles told the tale of the looting that took place only hours before.
