The Dream Is Working With The FBI To Catch Piracy

Atlanta singer/songwriter and VP of Island/Def Jam Records Leaked his song Champagne as part of a FBI plot to track down music pirating computer hackers. News of the song's leak, along with the song itself, spread rapidly on the internet yesterday (May 12). The song was encrypted with a federal tag which helped FBI investigators catch three individuals. Apparently, the R&B singer has been working with the FBI and using encryption tags on his music since 2009. He announced the capture of the three hackers via Twitter.

OfficialDream: "Job Done As u know there have been several leaks around many records I do I am pleased to say the Record Champagne which was apart of a FBI investigation, has lead to three individual's who's (sic) been hacking us for the last two years. im sorry u guys have to here (sic) unfinished music so i took it into my on (sic) hands to have every record i make since 2009 logged with a Federal encripted (sic) Tag & will also appear on LK (Love King) And Champagne is not on LK! It never was!"
