A group of about five men invaded a section of Steer Town, St Ann shooting six people, one fatally, in the wee hours of yesterday morning.
The man killed has been identified as Bryan Johnson while injured are three women and two men, all of the community.
According to investigators from the St Ann's Bay Police Station, about 12:20 a.m., the men brandishing guns went to a house where Johnson, another man and a female were sitting on a verandah and opened gunfire hitting them.
They then walked through the community and opened fire on several premises, injuring three other persons. Those injured have all been hospitalised in stable condition.
