Pastor Thomas Pearson and Sanguanetti Bryan, both accused of conspiring to export 4.5kg (10lb) of ganja to Trinidad, were remanded in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Friday.
Both are charged with possession, dealing in and taking steps to export ganja.
It is alleged that Pearson was preparing to board a flight to Trinidad when he was stopped and searched by airport security and four rectangular parcels containing compressed ganja were found strapped to his thighs.
The allegations indicated that Bryan transported Pearson to the airport and knew of the ganja being in the pastor's possession but denied the claim. Bryan was caught during a sting operation.
