Dancehall/reggae veteran Sugar Minott is said to be gravely ill, as doctors have reportedly diagnosed him with a heart condition.

Minott has reportedly been diagnosed Angina Pectoris, a heart condition where there is a severe chest pain caused by lack of *lo** and oxygen supply to the heart muscle, which is generally due to obstruction or spasm of the hearts *lo** vessels.

As a result of his medical condition, Minott is unable to travel, and will not be performing tonight at Kingston Class Reunion in Toronto, Canada; but the show will go on, and he has asked his daughter Tamar Minott  to perform his catalogue.

He is now resting under doctors supervision.
