The St Catherine North police are trying to ascertain the identity of a brazen gunman who pulled off a broad daylight robbery at St Jago Preparatory school in Spanish Town on Wednesday.

The incident reportedly occurred during the school's fun day.

Police reports said about 2 p.m., the robber went on the school compound and ventured into the canteen, brandished a gun and ordered the cashier to hand over all the money she had.

The cashier complied and man took the money and walked off the compound.
