The 2010 season of the Red Label Wine 'Dancin' Dynamites' continued last Saturday night at the Half Way Tree Entertainment Centre.

On a very warm Saturday night, the huge crowd inside the venue fanned frantically, wiped their faces and flocked to the Supligen and Coca-Cola booths to help keep themselves cool.

The competition was to provide much more heat, as contestants from the past teamed up with the present competitors.

With eight contestants the previous week, one was to be eliminated on the night. But there was a twist as there was a dance-off between Influence Dancers and Kritical.

The decision was turned over to the judges, and it was unanimous. Kritical was out of the competition after a below-par performance.

Target Dancers came into this round in the top spot, knocking Card Unit off their perch. However, It was the female duo group Kleva K's that brought the house down on the night, at least in the eyes of the judges, gaining a perfect score with Shady Squad.

Influence, Card Unit and the very creative Untouchable Squad also scored well, gaining over 20 points. G1 Dancers, failing to impress even the least bit, scored a meagre 12 points as did Target Dancers who scored 15 and Escalade 18.

While Kleva K's gained the most points on the night, it was clear who the crowd favoured most. If you haven't guessed by now, it was none other than Card Unit.

As soon as the group entered the stage, the cheers erupted and the cards came to life with a 'confetti effect'.

The group, according to some members of the audience, were short-changed by the judges, as the score did not reflect their performance.

For Irrelle Smith, newest member of the group, the feedback in the street, is great.

"Di people in the streets where we go say di competition is ours, but mi tell dem say, dem must keep the votes coming in as that is what counts at the end of the day," he said.
