Twenty-eight-year-old Karisha Smith, charged with the murder of three people at a church, was granted bail while her co-accused Marlon McKnight was remanded.
The two appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court last Thursday charged with the triple murder of Roshane Bowling, 18; Fitzroy Jebbison, 32, and 21-year-old Dermain Edwards, all of St Catherine addresses.
Smith and McKnight, who is also called Marlon Brandon, are both from St John's Road in the same parish.
Attorney-at-law Christopher Townsend made a successful bail application for Smith, telling Resident Magistrate Vashti Chatoor that if released on bond, his client would honour her obligation to reappear for the duration of the case.
Bail was granted in the sum of $200,000, with one or two surety on condition she return to court on May 6. McKnight is also to return on that date.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Winston Radcliffe outlined in court that on February 26, about 3:30 p.m., a group of persons were working at the Love Worship Centre on St John's Road.
A sports utility vehicle drove up and the occupants, armed with high-powered weapons, alighted from the vehicle. The court heard that the occupants fired a number of shots hitting eight persons. Jebbison, Bowling and Edwards later died.
Investigations later led to the arrest of the two accused who are charged with three counts of murder, three counts of conspiracy to commit murder, five counts of shooting with intent and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
It was revealed in court that two other persons are being sought in connection with the incident.
