A prophetess from Mandeville is now warning that a dangerous tidal wave or earthquake is threatening Jamaica.
Prophetess Lona Copeland-Blake, pastor at the End Time Ministries Church in Mandeville, Manchester, said that disaster for Jamaica is being held back by the Lord, due mainly to the prayers of saints.
She said that the earthquake that took place in Haiti in January could have been avoided if the people of that country were praying.
"Haiti is not a praying nation, so there is no spiritual covering there. Jamaica needs to be on her face before God," warned Copeland-Blake.
The prophetess said that at a time when Jamaica's crime rate is spiralling out of control and a financial crisis seems inevitable, she is urging citizens to put their trust in the Lord.
The pastor also said that if there is no unity in the church, there will not be any in the world so she is calling on the churches in Jamaica to join hands and fight against crime.
Copeland-Blake who lived in the United Kingdom for over 27 years, claimed that prior to Haiti being devastated by a powerful earthquake in January, she had prophesied the heart-rending event.
"A few weeks after launching a crusade, whilst preaching in one of my power-packed anointed meetings, I prophesied to a packed church in Mandeville that The Lord was getting ready to destroy Haiti and that many Jamaicans and other foreign nationals would have been destroyed in the process," said Copeland-Blake.
She noted that when news came about the destruction of the Haitian capital, Port Au Prince, she and the members of her congregation were not surprised, because it occurred only a few months after her prophesy.
