Residents of Waterloo district, St Catherine, woke up yesterday to a fiery experience, after gunmen killed three men, injured another and firebombed a house.
Those killed are Everald Gordon, 50, Huntley Davis, 50, and a man known as 'Jimmy'. The injured man is 18 years old.
The St Catherine North police said residents heard gunshots during the night and upon arrival, the bodies of Davis and Jimmy were found metres apart, while Gordon's body was found in a house.
Police said no motive has been established for the killing, but residents said the men were killed as a result of a gang war in the community.
Meanwhile, in neighbouring Clarendon, two teenagers were shot dead and a 20-month-old baby was shot and injured yesterday.
Reports said about 10 a.m. Jevaughn Fearon and Caleta Bandoo, both 17, were sitting under a tree in Yorke Town.
A car drove up, stopped occupants identified themselves as police personnel. They brandished guns and fired shots hitting all three.
They were taken to hospital where Fearon and Bandoo died. The infant remained in hospital.
