Portmore Empire first lieutenant Popcaan is widely regarded as the next big artiste to emerge out of the hit-making Portmore Empire camp. He already has a rabid following in the second city of Montego Bay, and the pitched-up intensity of his rhymes has already secured a full-*lo**ed underground following in his native Greater Portmore. It is only a matter of time before that support tips and translates into mainstream success.

And that moment may already be here as his combination song, Clarks, alongside Vybz Kartel and Gaza Slim, hit #10 on the ER top ten charts this week.

Word in the streets is that Popcaan has been voted the artiste most likely to carry the banner for the next generation of young artistes emerging out of the Vybz Kartel-led Gaza camp.
