The police have launched a manhunt for a prisoner who escaped custody last week.
Patrick Henry, who is facing three counts of murder and shooting, jumped from a police vehicle last Tuesday along Red Hills Road.
It is reported that the prisoner was being transported from the Gun Court to the police lock-up at Red Hills when he jumped from the police vehicle in his handcuffs and escaped.
Henry, a deportee, was also being investigated by the MIT for other murders committed in the downtown, Kingston area.
And a known associate of one of Manchester's most wanted criminals was held during an operation at Silent Hill, Christiana on Wednesday morning.
A quantity of assorted ammunition was taken from him.
His name is being withheld pending further investigation.
Information received by the Constabulary Communication Network is that about 3:30, an operation was carried out in a section of the community known as "Base" where a house occupied by the man was searched and 22 assorted rounds of ammunition were found.
