Rumors are sweeping the tubes of the internet today of the supposed murder of famous rap-artist "Lil Wayne", or Dwayne Carter. No information has yet to be released from authorities. Lil Wayne was sentenced to Rikers Island jail only 2 days ago, March 9th, for carrying a loaded weapon onto his tour bus. Some argue that Wayne, given his reputation, should have been kept seperate from other prisoners due to his high-risk of being someone who "ain't just anybody", but is it too late? Lil' was arrested back in mid-2007, pleading guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon. The sentencing was post-poned due to a a courthouse fire and Lil' Wayne's dental surgery. While police escorted Lil' to his new home in jail, he bade farewell to his fans who had gathered outside the courthouse. "He knew what he had to do, and he's doing it," said Lil Wayne's lawyer Stacey Richman referring to Wayne being full aware he had to serve jail-time as an ordinary citizen and not as a celebrity. She also said that Lil Wayne would be held in protective custody, however, the Corrections Department did not verify her claims.
Lil Wayne could have been released in eight months on good behavior, had he survived, hypothetically.

Just got the news this morning. And now more and more reports confirm the same thing. This would be the next best death since MJ. Plus it's strange cause he got body guards in jail too.
