Despite ongoing rumours that producer, Don Corleon and singer Kris Kelli are dating, the producer has refused to comment on this aspect of his life. The speculations began late last year after the two recorded a song called Moving On. The song was of much interest, as it suggested that the two were in an intimate relationship.
But this was after Alaine left Corleon's Record label. Even when it was rumoured that they had got married, they still denied being involved with each other.
not willing to comment
When THE WEEKEND STAR contacted Corleon, he was not willing to comment on the rumour surrounding Kris Kelli and himself.
However, a source close to the two said they are in a relationship.
"Dem have a song Moving On and it have whole heap a meaning and emotions inna it. A so him and Alaine did start talk, through the music," the source told THE WEEKEND STAR.
"Di whole Jamaica know but yuh know seh dem nah go tell nobody but mi know fi a fact seh dem inna sumpten based pon certain likkle flex weh mi see. More time she all up a him house."
The source also said the collaboration between Kris Kelli and Corleon was done because the producer was jealous, as Alaine moved on and did Secret Lovers with Chino. It is also being rumoured that Alaine and Chino are in a relationship.
While it might just be a song, it was very suggestive, as in unison, Corleon and Kris Kelli sing, "I'm moving on, this is a blessing from above/I'm moving on 'cause I just can't take no more."
Afterwards, Corleon sings, "Mek mi tell yuh this once again/I've finally moved on and find a new girlfriend/Mek mi tell yuh this love will never end/'cause we're no secret lovers."
His words said quite a bit, as Alaine did a song called Never Done while working
with Corleon early last year.
Nonetheless, Kris Kelli responds by singing, "bwoy mek mi tell yuh wah fi do/ Just keep loving me and wi ago show dem that it's true/ I'm going to be that part of you to show them what love is."
