According to information reaching THE WEEKEND STAR,two of three Haitian refugees, who arrived along the Boscobel coastline in that parish, sometime after 7 a.m., outran law men into nearby bushesand are currently being sought. The third man has been taken intocustody.

Police reports are that five men reportedly boarded a vessel on Monday from Port-au-Prince, Haiti before the unit capsized off the coast of Boscobel. Two of the men are said to have drowned during thismisfortune.

The police said that the other three managed to swim ashore, where two escaped into nearby bushes, while the other was captured.

The lawmen are appealing to residents to be on the lookout forthe two men, who might be armed and dangerous. They are urging them toreport any strange person or suspicious activity they may see.

There are speculations that the two refugees may belong to thegroup of some 4000 hardened criminals, who escaped from prison in Haitiin the aftermath of the devastating quake.

At 4:53 p.m. on January 12, the powerful earthquake rippedthrough Haiti causing extensive damage, deaths and casualty in andaround the capital of Port-au-Prince.
