Crime got a big blow when the police made a whopping gun find at the Adolph Levy Warehouse in Kingston.
The police eized 12 high-powered firearms and more than 700 rounds of ammunition from the warehouse
Operation Kingfish spokesman, Sergeant Jubert Llewellyn, said the seizure was made during a joint effort by security personnel.
Reports are that the guns and ammunition, plus 28 magazines and atelescopic lens for a sniper rifle, were hidden in an air compressor.
The compressor was among a shipment declared as personal effects, which was coming from New York in the United States.
The Kingfish spokesman said that two women and a man, all of St Catherine, have been held in connection with the seizure. Llewellyn, however, would not reveal their identities or say whether they are linked to any of the criminal gangs operating from St Catherine.
