Weezy Is Not Jesus Christ; Drops New Video

We previously reported that Lil Wayne would be playing the role of Jesus Christ in T-Pain's upcoming Cartoon Network special but now executives at the network have clarified Weezy's role. "Lil Wayne's character is still evolving. All we can say is that he is named Jesus and not Jesus Christ," an executive stated. Either way, Weezy will provide the voice for a character in T-Pain's "Return OF Freaknik," a one-hour special being produced for Adult Swim. The new show will debut on March 2st.

In related news, Lil Wayne released a new music video today. "On Fire" is a new single from Weezy's upcoming "Rebirth" album, which has been delayed multiple times and currently doesn't have a set release date, although Walmart.com recently reported it was pushed back to June 22nd.
