The fake celebrity death circuit takes no breaks for public holidays, and this Christmas the hot rumor has Eminem dead in a car crash.

According to the rumor, “Eminem died this morning in a terrible car crash” The rumor claims that Eminem was using a cell phone that distracted him, causing him to swerve into the path of an oncoming truck.

The rumor goes on to claim that the rapper “died from bleeding to death” after being admitted to hospital. The rumor also quotes a doctor on the death, and claims that MTV is showing a special on his career tonight.

We’re only scoring the Eminem died rumor a 3/10; car crashes are very much a standard fake celebrity death rumor, although the quotes and cell phone aspects are somewhat original.

For the record, Eminem has not died, Eminem is not dead, end of story.
