Ferenc Puskas
Scoring 84 goals in 85 matches, Ferenc Puskás (1927) was the stand-out player of the marvelous Hungarian national team that notched up a four year unbeaten run in the early 1950s. The "Magical Magyars" won Olympic gold at the 1952 Helsinki games, but heir most resounding victory came in 1953, when they became the first non-british team to defeat England at Wembley. They reached the final of the 1954, but with Puskas picking up an injury early on in the tournament, the Hungarians were defeated by West Germany. Puskas fled Hungary in the wake of the Soviet invasion of 1956 and went on to play for Real Madrid well into his 30's, winning numerous trophies.

Ferenc Puskás (Hungarian pronunciation: [frnts puka]; born Ferenc Purczeld Biró; 1 April 1927[1] 17 November 2006) was a Hungarian footballer and manager and is regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time.[2] He scored a remarkable 84 goals in 85 international matches for Hungary,[3] and 514 goals in 529 matches in the Hungarian and Spanish leagues.[3] He was voted one of the greatest players of the 20th century by World Soccer magazine.

Zidane was one a di most gracefull and intelligent footballers ive ever seen with mi two eyes... but dis Hungarian did a go hard!!

well there is no doubt in my mind that from an overall point of view and perspective that PUSKAS is the greatest forward ever.. then yuh have ppl like Ronaldo-the brazillian one, Pele,Di Stefano,  Maradona, Cruyff, Van Basten and there is also no doubt that Messi will rise to that level of imperialism.

In terms of Middle players.. there's the like of Coemann, Zico, ZIDANE, XAVI, Cristano Ronaldo Dos Santos Aveiro (winger/forward..lol). Pirlo, Gerard and the list could go on forever...

defenders would have to encompass the likes of Stam, Blanc, BECKENBUER, CANNAVARO, Nesta, TERRY... and in my eyes PIQUE will b the greatest ever..

not a fan of goal keepers... heard that YAKIN from turkey was the best.. him dead long time
