events update - leading dancehall singjay Mavado's December 5 birthnite bash at the Temple Hall Estate in St. Andrew, will have an international flavour this year, as American R&B crooner Bobby Valentino has just been added to the line-up. Mavado and Bobby Valentino worked together earlier this year on a remix of Valentino's Billboard smash hit "Hands on Me", and have also collaborated on other yet-to-be released projects.

"I cant wait to come back to Jamaica to see my ladies," said Bobby V, who has performed once before in Jamaica. "Last time I was there it was crazy love and I'm thrilled to return and help Mavado celebrate his birthday in style. I'll be singing all the favorite hits for my females, we just gonna do it up big for the Gangsta on his birthday!"

Mavado's birthday celebration will feature an extensive line-up of local artistes and sound systems including Bounty Killer, Elephant Man, Sizzla, Busy Signal, Wayne Marshall, Flexxx, Chase Cross, Munga, Demarco, Vegas, Stacious, Spice, Lady Saw, the Gully Squad, Stone Love, Swatch, Sky Juice and Boom Boom.
