This day and age the internet is becoming a great tool for not only networking, but also romance.

If you ever watched the hit TV show Smart Guyor her recent appearance in Dance Flick, then you will recognize Essence Atkins.

Essence Atkins is now engaged to a man she met on Match.com. Now why it took her to get on a dating website before anyone grabbed a hold of her, God only knows, but it worked.

She apparently joined the site because you dont have to put a picture up. Lucky guy, Jaime Mendez got a message FROM HER on Valentines because the site apparently said they were 97% compatible.

Fast forward a year into the future, their wedding is set for Sept 26, 2009.

No pic no reply? .... Who is thinking twice about that now?
