News has slowly trickled out regarding a new Michael Jackson game for the Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3. The game will apparently contain hits from the artists past and some have indicated that it could be an adventure title.
According to article on Electronic Theatre, MJJ Productions have been working on the game for quite some time. In fact, it appears the game has been in production for monthswell before the death of the legendary music icon.
The game supposedly contains the likeness and voice of Michael Jackson, as well as hit singles from the artists past. What is not known is what kind of game it will be or how players will engage it. However, some sources have speculated that the game could be an adventure title that spans the life of Jackson, starting with the Jackson 5 band and leading up to the present day [freak show] version of the disturbed but talented artist.
According to MJJ the game was already slated for a holiday season, 2009 release. Given the huge popularity of Michael Jackson during this time of his death, it wouldnt be surprising if the game was hurried to the market by the late third-quarter of this year just so license holders can make some extra cash. Its a shame, really.
Be sure to stay tuned in for more info regarding the new Michael Jackson game, as details on the gameplay and release dates will probably become available in the next few weeks.
Like really? This is ridiculous I can't seem to comprehend what this game will be about. Are you going to have a Michael Jackson animated figure and you teach him how to sing, dance, perform? If so how entertaining - inserts sarcasm-
