After being arrested and held for questioning earlier this week, reportedly on suspicion of fraud charges, dancehall duo Patrick Curly Lox Gaynor and Paul Tu-Lox Gaynor (more popularly known as Twin of Twins) were bailed on Wednesday, June 24, and have issued an official statement on the matter. According to the twins, the money in question had long been returned to the complainant, but had no idea he had already taken the matter to the police, and that there was now an outstanding warrant for the arrest. According to them, when they were arrested, they explained to the police and asked them to call the complainant to confirm, but they repeatedly refused to do so, choosing instead to mock and jeer them with lines taken from their Stir It Up series.
