From a very young age music has always been a central part of her life. Nova played active roles in church as well as in school. Whether it be singing, dancing or an entertaining performance of both. Throughout her teenage years, Nova states: I tried to distance myself away from writing and singing music, due to the misleading perspectives and negative influences of individuals that were then apart of my life. Not so good decision making on my path, however the Almighty had significant purpose and direction for my life.

Now in her mid-twenties and despite all the inevitable career trials and tribulations, Nova is more than ever focused in doing the Almightys work. There is love and enjoyment in every song that she writes and sings... Not forgetting a significant message.
