The duo was spotted working alongside experienced selectors like Gary Chucks and Arif Cooper. The St Catherine-based selectors took over musical responsibilities on the turntables at about 4:00 a.m. and brought the house down with their well-mixed selections of hip hop, R&B and old as well as new dancehall tunes.
Dancers such as Ding Dong and the Ravers Clavers and Chi - Ching Ching were seen 'dribbling' and 'sweeping' as they danced to the sound which blared through the speakers.
About 45 minutes later, when their stint ended, the selectors said they were acknowledged by a number of persons, ranging from artistes to other selectors.
According to Big J, their appearance in the paper has since led to possible bookings abroad.
"We get calls from people in England and the US since the article. People all stop complain bout di money weh wi charge," a laughing Big J noted.
Nevertheless, they say they will continue to put in the hard work necessary to reach their ultimate goal of becoming a household name in the business, both here and abroad.
