The lawsuits in Hip Hop seem to be more common than the flu now-a-days. According to his latest twitter update, Russell Simmons may be preparing to sue the very label he birthed along with Rick Rubin in 1984. 

"Can't believe I'm suing defjam," the update reads.

"They are now trying to eat my lunch? Unbelievable bulles..unprecedented stupidity on their part"

No word as to why Simmons is preparing to wage a legal war on the label or as to what exactly he is referring to. 

Simmons promptly retracted his statement with another update stating "Oops my lawyers are pissed. I wasn't supposed to tweet dat ," which he has also since deleted

Simmons sold his stake in the record company for $100 million to Universal Music Group in 1999
