What is the reason why Mediazone Members only appreciate one Genre of music on the site????

MEDIAZONE is faced with a problem which needs to be solved. Whenever the dj's on here try their best to pleased the listeners we are getting negative feedbacks. The problem is we play all genres to suite all age group but whenever sometimes certain genres of music is played, people start turning off their radio, sending boo emoticons, talking negatively about the dj and so forth.I think this problem needs to be solved by each member and it is for each of you to do this so that more traffic can be brought to the site and surfers can appreciate MZJAmore openly as one of the top sites in the caribbean.
We cant listen to one genre all day ppl DANCEHALL!!!!!!!, there are plenty more to be discovered.

NUFF RESPECT TO ALL THE DJ'S WHO DEVOTE THEIR TIME TO MZJA RADIO

real talk jb a chat becuh more time if one a play roots, lover's rock or intelligent hip hop inna late nite slot, it seem like di zone nuh rate dem. As a dj, we know dat di f**kery and slackness/popular chune will get a quick forward but it is the job of a selecta to choose GOOD chune not jes di popular one. Dem typa sound com and gone but di one who play chune to uplift people thru music establish pon a steadfast foundation.

Yes my Lord, a good point the I makes. Mass production and negative influences are filling up the peoples minds the whole world over, so it is no surprise. From what i can tell Dj's are volunteering, nuh true? So ones should big them up still, surely the Dj will take requests more time. I would encourage ones here to check for more reality and culture tunes and roots music, I personally am TIRED to hear gun tune after gun tune and slackness is the fashion of the day it seem. My experience with posting cultural roots music here so far is that only a handful will big it up like it nah interest them! Have to wonder more time if they don't need it to cool off from all the 200 bpm songs them a listen! Blessed love

Well this is a good posting because this one track mind goes beyond di radio. Back in the 90's there was appreciation for everything. Even if we stuck to just the jamaican music woman&man respected gal tunes, singers/badman/dancing/culture. I remember going to dances and seeing woman give gun salute to some of Bounty's badman tune dem and seeing badman give gun salute to Sizzla Black Woman & Child. Today's generation dont have a mind of their own, them have nutten positive to see or think about. Poverty did worse ah Jamaica in di 70's,80's & 90's but back then people were not fixed on one type of music.

That why mi nuh too blame di government fi ban gun and slack songs pon di radio because DJs pon radio are supposed to play everything but 90% of them just waan play whats hype and what will get people to tune.
