We are pleased to report today April 1, 2009 that the Zone has been sold. Management won't confirm the figure but according to CNN and rumors the figure is just over USD1 million.

Mediazone is a one of a kind entertainment site and the most popular not only out of Jamaica but also all the Caribbean. The new owners...J-Media have had a keen interest in the site for a while now and feel Mediazone with its distinct Caribbean flavor is a perfect fit for its online strategy geared towards building traffic and exploiting new market niche.

On behalf of management...thanks to the hard working mods and members who made the Zone a success beyond our wildest dreams. Now it's just a question of what to do with all this money. After a very long European vacation...we will definitely look at some possibilities.
