FIRE believed to be caused by an electrical short circuit destroyed a four bedroom house at Reeveswood, Porus, Manchester yesterday. No one was injured in the blaze.
Police said that at 12:50 pm, an occupant of the house saw smoke coming from one of the rooms and raised an alarm. The Police and the fire brigade were summoned and one unit from the Mandeville Fire Department put out the blaze.
Loss is estimated at $2.5 million. The house was uninsured.
