THE Olympic Gardens Police in St Andrew South are investigating the shooting deaths of two men in separate incidents yesterday.

The dead men have been identified as 27-year-old Anthony Blake of Dewdney Road, and 34-year-old Christopher Fuller of a Bay Farm Road address, both in Kingston 11.

Police said that at 2:30 pm, Blake was standing on Binns Road when he was approached by a gunman who immediately opened fire hitting him several times. The police were summoned and Blake was taken to the Kingston Public Hospital where he died while being treated.

In the second incident, at 3:00 pm, Fuller was standing on Olympic Way when he was also approached by a gunman who shot him. Fuller died on the spot while a policeman who was in close proximity challenged the gunman who escaped following a shootout.
