Many might have heard the name 'Stunt Squad' in a number of Laden's songs, but few know anything about the squad.

Hailing from St Elizabeth, the Stunt Squad is a group of aspiring deejays, engineers and musicians of which Laden has been a member for a number of years. Laden explained: "Stunt Squad is just a group of youths weh have talent like miself. That's my crew. There's seven of us, Snypa Kyng, Oxygen, Kilovani (who are all deejays), Fasca, Vigilant, Bird and me."

The squad works out of the MicroTech Studios in Junction, St Elizabeth, and travels between Junction and Kingston regularly. While Laden is the only one from the squad to make it big so far, he believes there will soon be others from the squad making their mark.

"Sniper King is the nearest one to get a buss, him don't start record yet but him and Big Ship (Laden's label) close," he said.

While Laden may be busy with his career, he said he will never forget his roots because the Stunt Squad has been supporting him 100 per cent. They were the ones who encouraged him to enter the Digicel Rising Stars competition three years ago and he is determined that they too will get their time to shine.
