Teenager held with Illegal Gun

An 18-year-old man of Sarah Street, Allman Town, Kingston 4 is now in police custody after being found in possession of an illegal firearm at Sarah Street yesterday.

His name has been withheld pending further investigations.
According to police reports about 10:30 p.m., a police team was on patrol in the Allman Town area.

They were on Sarah Street when they stopped and searched a group of men. A Rossi .38 revolver, serial number D-793356 with four rounds of ammunition was found in one of the mens possession. He was subsequently taken into custody.

The Kingston Central Police are investigating.
