A common-law couple was found shot to death at their home at Lower Buxton, Browns Town, St. Ann yesterday evening.

Dead are Hubert Henry, 32- year-old mechanic and Primrose Simpson, 19 year-old teacher with the Jamaica Foundation for Lifelong Learning.

Police reports are that about 6 p.m., a passerby noticed the bodies in the house through an open door and called the police.

Investigators, who went to the scene, found Henrys body on the bed and Simpson, who was in an advanced state of pregnancy on the bedroom floor. Both had gunshot wounds.

The crime scene was processed and the bodies removed to the morgue.

Detectives from the Browns Town CIB, who are investigating, believe the couple was killed about 2 a.m., as residents reported hearing explosions in the area around that time.
