Andrew Blake, a man accused of trespassing into a man's yard and using a hose to steal gas from his parked car, pleaded guilty to simple larceny in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.
Blake, however, pleaded not guilty to assault.
The court was told that Blake climbed unto the complainant's premises and went to his car with five-gallon bottles. He used a hose to take gas from the complainant's car and fill the bottles.
When the complainant saw him and approached, it is alleged that Blake pulled a knife and stabbed at the complainant. The matter is to be mentioned again on April 15.
