A mother languishes in jail, while her son, who she allegedly help to escape from a murder scene, remains at large.
Charged with aiding and abetting murder and accessory after the fact is Debbie Myers, 45, of Michelle Crescent in Edgewater, Portmore, St Catherine.
Myers, who appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Court, on Tuesday, was remanded by Resident Magistrate Simone Maddix.
The court was told that Myers son Carl 'Brown Bwoy' Pinnock, had a dispute with Cornelius Greene along Michelle Crescent about 5:30 p.m. on Monday, February 2. The court heard that Pinnock left and returned with a gun and shot Greene who later died in hospital.
Investigators are contending that Myers then took her son away in a vehicle and that he has not being seen since.
The police subsequently charged the mother who is being representing by attorney-at-law Tom Tavares-Finson.
While the case was being mentioned, relatives of Greene who were presented in court had to be supported as they almost fainted.
