I would say for the money cause even if the sounds play them they still will not get the same type of listenership like radio!!!! but I will tell you this Mix CD season ya heard if the people want the unedited version or dancehall will start fe play the raw version dem only!!!
they just ban the music, coz in their eyes it got too powerful again and they have to cut that off. they are afraid that jamaican artiste have a bigger impact on the ppls minds, not because of gun or dagger tunes but in general. they dont like to see ghetto ppl rise.

well u have a point, but i think theyre helping out the artists, can u imagine how hard it is for a producer to cut out all those badwads, mi wudda get fed up lol
well over the years i collected a lot of edit tunes but never played any. coz i am no radio station and dont want to hear the edit. all the producers that want to get airplay should continue to make a radio-fly version, but
if dancehall lyrics water dung i will stop lissen to it. want to hear the real ting.
so instead of making an edit, there should be an raw and a radio version maybe.
remember like sean paul changed his lyrics back in the days to get a ganja tune and a regular party tune on a riddim? no word needed to be edit, he voiced a second style for radio that was alright. i think it was pon stepz riddim
well ppl wills till need edited versions....me as a producer wuda charge more fi edits!
