Impressed by the overwhelming response to Beenie Man's performance in the Central American country of Belize in 2005, and noticing that the reggae performances in that country are few and far between, Tasz Smith, CEO of Triple T Productions in New York joined forces with Garth Guthrie of Nuff Muzik Productions in Florida to initiate the Belize Reggae Fest Series, which will bring the most popular dancehall and reggae artistes to the Central American country.
The Belize Reggae Fest will be held on Saturday, March 7 at the Civic Center in Belize City.
Beenie Man and Anthony Cruz are set to launch the Reggae Fest Series at the Princess Hotel and Casino with a mix of dancehall and lover's rock. DJ Andrew D of Irie FM Radio 93.5 FM in New York will be spinning all the latest reggae and dancehall hits as Jamaica's favourite dancer "Attitude Gyal" Dyema shows off the latest dancehall moves.
Other artistes scheduled to perform are: Jay Z, Wyclef Jean, Sean Paul and former NFL player Tiki Barber.
