Most-wanted list released

Alleged leader of the notorious St James-based Stone Crusher gang, Cedrick Murray, heads the list of the 10 most-wanted men.

The Organised Crime Investi-gation Division released the list yesterday.

Murray, also known as 'Paul Brown' and 'Doggie', was first placed on the list three years ago after he was fingered in a triple murder at Felicity Road in Montego Bay, St James in February 2006.

He is said to frequent Norwood, Salt Spring and Rose Heights in St James, Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland, and the Coronation Market in Kingston.

Also on the list are Andre Nordane Bryan, also known as 'Black Man' or 'Garth', and Warren 'Brucky' Simpson, both of Spanish Town, St Catherine addresses.

Two Clansman

The two are alleged members of the Clansman gang, which operates in the parish and are wanted in connection with the 2008 murder of Douglas Chambers, former chairman of the Jamaica Urban Transit Company.

Twenty-one-year-old Carey Rose, also called 'Tyson', of Yancey Place in Kingston 11, is wanted in connection with the 2007 gun slaying of detective sergeant Egerton Brown who was murdered along Sundown Crescent in St Andrew.

James Hinds and Donald 'Handsome' Brown, both of Spanish Town, St Catherine; Omar Oneil Lewis, called 'King Evil' of Canterbury, St James; Alton Gordon of Broadleaf district in Clarendon; Collin 'John Crow' Henry of Kew district in Hanover, and Troy Fong of Hope Flats in St Andrew are also on the list.

A reward of $500,000 is being offered to anyone who can assist the police in arresting and charging these men.
