The name 'Notnice'is being claimed by both a dancer and a producer, as both individuals claim to be the rightful owner of the name.

Dancer Kahlyl 'Notnice' Williamson says he has had the alias for years and has created a couple of dances with the name. He says he went abroad for about two months and when he came back a week ago, he heard that a producer also had the name.

"Mi have dat name deh before 2005, but it get highlighted at a time when mi do di dance name 'Killa Walk' and 'Prezy Bounce'. Mi nuh know why da yute deh a use di name and mek everybody a call me and a seh mi switch from Alliance when a Bounty Killer put mi to di worl'," said

He added: "(Vybz) Kartel a hype him up but the ting haffi be known. Mi a di real Notnice and there is only one Notnice."

In addition, Williamson says he did a song with Boysie called Bung Bang under the name Notnice on Delly Ranks' Red Bull and Guinness rhythm.

When contacted, however, the other Notnice, producer Ainsley Morris, whose popularity soared after working on projects with Vybz Kartel, is not fazed by Williamson's comments.

When asked if he had copied the name, Morris said, "No man! A fake yute dat man. No man! A nuh so it go."

Morris says he had been using the name for about nine years.

"Mi hear bout dis dancer, but I have never met him. If him want a hype, him need fi go mek a new dance and stop saying I stole his name," Morris said, chuckling.

Williamson in an interview
