Aaron Thompson, the man who has been charged with the murder of popular dancer, Ice, was remanded when he appeared in the Corporate Area Gun Court yesterday.
Thompson was remanded by Senior Resident Magistrate Glen Brown until February 18, when the matter will again be mentioned.
Allegations are that Ice, whose real name is David Alexander Smith, was shot dead at 7:55 a.m. on December 26, moments after he exited a bar along Newark Avenue, Kingston 11.
THE STAR had earlier reported that investigators believed that the dancer's car had been hit, as when they went to the scene, there were signs of an accident.
However, the court heard that Thompson allegedly shot and killed Ice during a robbery at the bar.
