A major brouhaha has been stewing between dancers Mystic and GlobalBob a.k.a Spongebob in recent weeks as the contest between the two for the HYPE TV Dancer of the Year title got closer and more heated.

Allegations have flown fast and furious between the competing camps. Dancehallreggaeweseh spoke to Globalbob who demanded "more transparency in the process".

"I know people who have been trying to vote who get error messages on their computers when they try to vote for me, so I don't think the whole thing is transparent," he chided.

Globalbob who was known as Spongebob, a name given to him by Bogle, said that he is surprised at the animosity between the two because people have christened him the No Linger King and Mystic as the No Linger Queen.

"Is a girl who mi always hail when mi go out but people have been saying that she is saying all kind of things about me and I don't know where it is coming from because I always show her love. We inna two different categories, male and female, so I don't see why there is a problem," the third year Utech student said.

Globalbob has made appearances in videos for artistes like KK Alese, MIA Boys, VoiceMail's Gangalee and in both the Get That Clear and Bad to the Bone videos for Brick and Lace.

Dancer Mystic said that she has been receiving threats for persons who are presumably cronies of GlobalBob.

"I have been getting a lot of calls from guys who threaten me in an uptown way, telling me to 'watch myself and stop call up the boss name' but the threats are in a high-pitched voice so I don't take them seriously," she said.

She said that she is focussing on her career and her dancing, and that she is "not into anything with SpongeBob'.

"I don't consider myself the No Linger Queen, somebody put that on a website and his friends went on and said some nasty things about me, somebody deleted my Facebook after someone in the media wrote that I outdanced him in Trelawny," the female dancer who will be performing at both the EMEs and the YVAs this week, said.

She said she dislikes all the hostility she is getting from 'Spongebob and his people".

"I honestly can't stand mix up and arguments, when things aren't going good, all is well, when blessings flow, drama follows with people who seem to be in an invisible war against me," she said.
