Steelers
Mewelde Moore (PIT - RB)

News: Moore (ankle) practiced all week for the Steelers and will play in Super Bowl XLIII. [+]
Impact: Moore suffered a right ankle sprain against the Ravens in the AFC Championship. His ability to catch screens out of the backfield, fill in for Willie Parker when necessary and return punts have made him a valuable player for Pittsburgh throughout the 2008 season. (RotoWire - Fri. Jan 30, 2009)

News: Roethlisberger is not listed on the injury report for Super Bowl XLIII. [+]
Impact: Reports of Roethlisberger undergoing X-rays on his ribs have come and gone. He's still just four weeks removed from suffering a concussion, but the head injury did not limit his performance against the Ravens in the AFC Championship. (RotoWire - Fri. Jan 30, 2009)
Hines Ward (PIT - WR)

News: Ward (knee) practiced for the second straight day on Friday and is listed as probable for Super Bowl XLIII, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. [+]
Impact: Coach Mike Tomlin said Ward looked "awesome" in practice on Thursday. Steelers fans are likely hoping that Ward looks super on Sunday. (RotoWire - Fri. Jan 30, 2009)

Steelers win Super Bowl on Holmes' late TD
Their Steel Curtain shredded, Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh offense ended a Super Bowl of incredible swings with a final-minute touchdown for a historic victory. Santonio Holmes made a brilliant 6-yard catch deep in the right corner of the end zone with 35 seconds remaining Sunday, lifting the Steelers to a record-setting sixth Super Bowl win, 27-23 over the Arizona Cardinals. It was one of the most thrilling finishes to the NFL title game, certainly equaling last year's upset by the New York Giants that ended with Plaxico Burress' TD catch - with 35 seconds left, too.

Cardinals
Anquan Boldin (ARI)

News: Larry Fitzgerald would look at restructuring his contract if it would help keep Boldin on the team. [+]
Impact: The question came up as the Cardinals prepared for Sunday's Super Bowl matchup with Pittsburgh. Fitzgerald and Boldin form arguably the best receiving tandem in the NFL. Boldin said in training camp that he would never re-sign with Arizona and would like to be traded because he feels management lied to him by not following through on a promise for a new contract. (STATS - Wed. Jan 28, 2009)
