More Reality and Culture

Blessed Love. Do give thanks for this international forum of communication and entertainment, for all the effort that goes into maintaining the site and keeping everything in order. In this particular section I would like to appeal for some more reality and cultural focus, as I think there is too much jokie jokie business or slackness being promoted here in general which seems very superficial. No disrespect towards anyone still, just a thought to ones and ones. Do give thanks. Rastafari ruleth and reigneth itinually!

everytime reggae music is the only solution fi educate di youths

dancehall music promote too much violence , slackness & badmind attitude

real dancehall was in da 80's now 90 % of new dancehall productions are techno music or gangsta shit influence by usa.....hopefully sometimes good dancehall conscious prod but really rare

I don't agree..Ithnk during the 80's, the genre was jus being developed and over the years it has been finetuned to bring out what is the roots and esssence of dancehall, which is really singing about ghetto lifestyles, which includes their sturggles and experiences and what happens in the ghetto. Yes, that is where dnacehall came from, THE GHETTO and don't forget it. Reggae is a whole other genre which is more conscious and spiritual as most of the reggae artistes are aligned to rastafarianism. Please don;t compare the two tho
