DEEJAY HELD FOR RAPE

Entertainer 'Hitlist', born Marlon Lawrence, is now in police custody under suspicion of rape, THE STAR understands.

Hitlist is best known for his 2006 hit, Please Stop Di Killing', which held its place on local charts during the year, after which his Nah Give Up Track also received major spin on the airwaves.

Checks by THE STAR yesterday revealed that the entertainer is being held at the St Catherine South Division in Portmore after he was picked up along St Johns Road in Spanish Town.

The Constabulary Communication Network told THE STAR that formal charges have not been laid against him, however, he is scheduled to face an identification parade.

Reports reaching THE STAR are that late last week, a female was offered a ride by the entertainer and was subsequently sexually assaulted.

A report was made to the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse at the St Catherine South Division and following investigations, the entertainer was held.

He is to be interviewed in the presence of his attorney.

For real. I know Hitlist but you can never swear for people. Lets wait til we get the full story before we start convicting him of something he may or may not have done.
