MANDEVILLE, Manchester -Six fishermen who left the south coast town of Black River in St Elizabeth last Thursday on a fishing trip have gone missing, according to reports reaching the Observer last night.
Reports say the six - including five Jamaicans and a Honduran - who left Black River in the fishing boat 'Cross Tide' failed to make contact with the boat owner on the weekend as had been arranged.
Checks by colleague fishermen in an area of the western Caribbean where the men were scheduled to arrive on Saturday morning have proven negative, reports say.
