Dancehall muzik "back in my time" was better. Well the riddims atleast. That's why they are altering the old riddims. Only thing I really like about present day Dancehall is that there are more female artistes thus, adding more variation.

Music back in the day was sweet, even now yuh can play dem songs & ppl go crazy!! Dancehall nowadays is more creative & competitive Mi luv di ol & di new!

Mi nuh like di word slack! Jus seh more freedom of speech but yuh can't single out dancehall cuz hip-hop, pop, r&b, country, rock etc... have all evolved!

The back in the dayz dancehall music is quite the same in sense of the context in the lyrhics. The reason y it seems so different is becuz there are more instruments in the nowadayz riddim and producing is at its highest.
But in terms of slackness...u cant ask if it is slacker becuz is a man seh pumpum and anotehr seh P**y, its the same difference. Dancehall music was meant for slackness thats why its differenciate from Reggae because Reggae give a more concious vibes but both music bring across reality.

nowadays too much violence in the music so it mess up the youths brain... compared to back in the day more unity was there.. not much segregation like today... as well as th love an joy displayed thro th music.. thank god seh captain barkey an wickerman stil deh bout fi add some humor to th music
