The two policemen charged for the murder of a teenager in downtown Kingston in August were offered bail when they appeared in the Home Circuit Court yesterday.
Constables Audley Lawrence and Andre Hare were each offered bail in the sum of $350,000 with surety.
The constables are charged for the murder of Cartlon Grant Jr. son of dancehall artiste Cartlon Spragga BenzGrant.
The constables were charged last month, following a ruling by the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP).
Grant was killed on August 23 in what police said was a shootout.
It is alleged that Grant and another boy were riding a bicycle on their way to downtown Kingston when the police stopped them.
According to the police, Grant was shot after he pulled a gun and opened fire on them.
However, eyewitnesses have refuted the claim.
The policemen are to return to court on January 23.
