Feeling sick, stressed or depressed, pastor can give you the 'Vitamin S'.
Members of a church in southwest St Elizabeth said that on at least two occasions, their 71-year-old pastor has spoken of receiving visions in which sex with him would cure the ills of church members.
'A pure sex him talk bout'
"Da man deh is a sex maniac, a pure sex him talk bout," expressed Mr Hukkle, a former church member who stopped attending due to the 'prescriptions'.
THE STAR was told that on the first occasion, some months ago, the pastor preached that he dreamt of a cure for a female member who complained of stomach pains.
To their amazement, the pastor loudly claimed that the Lord instructed him to cure the woman by lubricating his penis and inserting it inside her.
Receive divine orders
THE STAR was also told that just recently, the pastor claimed he had the cure for another female member who had difficulty walking. This time, it was said, the pastor claimed to receive divine orders for both himself and the affected woman to strip naked and lie on each other.
THE STAR was unable to find out if the pastor had indeed acted on his visions. When contacted yesterday, he at first declared he knew nothing of such instances.
However, after his efforts to find out who had given us the information failed, he went on to classify it as just rumours, which he admitted hearing.
"I don't even want to hear the names again, God will take care of them ... I've heard the arguments but there is no proof of that. They have a lot of things to say about me," he said.
He further explained that he had been a pastor at the church for more than 40 years and as such persons are trying to oust him.
"Because I'm the head of the ministry, they want to fight me down, all of those claims are untrue," he added before ending the conversation.
Despite the claims of the church members however, they continue to attend the church, claiming it is not their duty to judge him.
"God do things in strange ways sometimes, wi nuh really like dem talk deh but wi nuh waa judge him, plus mi nuh waa get mix up," a church member who requested anonymity` explained.
